Applications for admission for Reception at Kidsgrove Primary should be made through Staffordshire Local Authority.

Early Years offer

The Early Years setting at our school is rated as GOOD by Ofsted.

Additionally, a unique pathway is available from pre-school right through to secondary education at Kidsgrove High and beyond to University.


We offer a pre-school setting for children aged 2 years which includes 15 hours of FREE care where we provide the highest quality of education in a warm, nurturing and friendly environment. Once your child reaches the age of 3 an additional 15 hours of FREE care is available. Sessions take place each morning from 9:00am to 11:45am.

All children from 3-4 years of age currently receive 30 hours FREE education, regardless of criteria, which can be used flexibly throughout the week.

We deliver the very best education possible in a caring and family-oriented community. We focus on the highest quality of teaching and learning across the curriculum with a central importance of literacy and numeracy.

Extended hours of care are available for all children aged from 3 to 11 years old from 7:30am to 4:00pm in the form of breakfast and after school clubs while we also provide unique holiday care facilities.
